EDUtalk Instructions - Skype and Pamela
Nowadays it is fairly straightforward to record telephone calls made from your computer. From experience, one of the most effective ways of capturing a telephone call as an mp3 file is to use Pamela Call Recorder with Skype.
Skype is a Voice-over-IP telephony service. To download this free software, visit Skype.com. Choose the version most suitable to your hardware here and follow the on-screen instructions to install this resource onto your computer. Once installed and you have set up your account and Skype name, you can add Skype contacts ie colleagues who have a user name and Skype installed on their computer. You will then be able to place an audio or video call to their computer from yours for free at any time. If you intend to use your Skype account to call a colleague's mobile or land-line then you will need to purchase Skype Credit.
After setting up Skype, install Pamela Call Recorder. Click on this link, then click on 'Download Pamela Call Recorder'. This will allow you to record up to 15 minutes of telephone call audio at once. Once installed, click on the 'Settings' icon and ensure that these match the settings in slides 2, 3, and 4 above.
You are now set up so that as a Skype call is placed, Pamela Call Recorder gives an audible alert to both parties that the call is being recorded, then recording begins. As soon as the call ends, the content of the telephone call is converted into an mp3 file and can be found in the Pamela Call Recordings folder in the 'My Documents' folder on your computer. This can then be emailed to post@EDUtalk.posterous.com.

Better try MX SkypeRecorder
http://skyperec.com/
which is very simple and reliable, works in fully automatic or manual mode and supports various voip apps. Or try other app but not Pamela.
