Wednesday 14 March 2012, 6.00pm (Tea and Coffee from 5.30pm), McCance Lecture Theatre, University of Strathclyde, Richmond Street, Glasgow.
As he prepares for his return to teacher education in England, Ian Menter will reflect on ten years of change in Scottish education and the ways in which the reforms of McCrone, Donaldson and McCormac have been reshaping teacher professionalism.
Ian Menter is currently Professor of Teacher Education at the University of Glasgow and was a founding member of the TETW research group. In April 2012 he will move to the University of Oxford where he will be Professor of Teacher Education and Director of Professional Programmes in the Department of Education.
